Test Preparation FAQs
Yes! Expert teachers and teacher educators have carefully studied the standards and competencies covered on each licensure assessment and created rich, in-depth content unique to those standards to help you study for your test. Our courses also include practice questions and interactive items aligned to the content to help prepare you for the types of items you will find on your licensure test.
You can renew your course subscription my accessing your account at passprepproduc.wpenginepowered.com. Navigate to “Account Access” at the upper right corner. Scroll down to “Course Subscriptions” in the left-hand menu on your screen and select this tab. Find the course in your course subscriptions menu that you would like to renew and select “View.” Then, select “Renew Now.” You will then be taken to your cart where you can renew your subscription using the same payment method or a new payment method.
You can access your Passage PreparationTM through your Passage Preparation account. On the home page, navigate to the Account Access tab at the top right of the page and click on that tab. You will then be directed to your account. Once you log in you will see “Access my Courses”. Click there and you will then be directed to your Canvas dashboard where you can access your courses. Alternatively, you can click the button below.
A study plan is a tool you develop to help you prioritize areas of study as you prepare for your teacher certification tests. Passage Preparation™ courses first provide a diagostic assessment in which you respond to approximately 40 items aligned to the standards, sometimes called content categories or domains, to which your licensure assessment is aligned.
Then, we prompt you to analyze your Diagnostic Assessment Report and test breakdown to identify the content areas you should study most.
You may have already mastered some content categories, so you will want to spend most of your study time reviewing the areas and content you have not yet mastered in order to best prepare for your certification exam. When developing your study plan, it is important to think about the time you have to study, other obligations such as work, school, and family, and when you wich to submit your test scores to your state’s licensing agency in order to apply for certification.
Once you develop your study plan, you have a roadmap for reviewing the content and test structure that will prepaere you for success on your teacher certification test. Passage Preparation™ courses provide all the steps you need to develop this helpful tool and support your journey to success on your test.
