Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are vital for maintaining teacher licensure in Nevada, ensuring educators remain effective and up-to-date in their profession. As of September 16, 2024, the Nevada Department of Education requires educators to complete 90 clock hours of continuing education, 6 semester credits, or a combination of both during each licensure period. These hours can be earned through various approved providers.
