We are seeking a dynamic educator to join the Passage PreparationTM team to help us achieve our goal of supporting prospective teacher candidates in their journey to become professionally licensed educators. Consider becoming our Assessment Preparation Content Manager at Passage Preparation.

Make a Difference

Passage Preparation is uniquely situated to support a robust and diverse pipeline of qualified educators required to complete educator licensure assessments. We at Passage Preparation believe the teaching profession demands a high standard for entry and candidates deserve the support to meet that standard. We have a strong network of partners and a growing collection of academic content. Additionally, we have significant market research, relevant experience, and a substantial investment in technology and business systems to help us achieve our mission.

Candidates required to pass the PraxisTM, Texas Educator Certification Examination Program (TExESTM) tests, or the Foundations or ReadingTM (FOR) can rely on Passage Preparation to help them pass their test. We aim to grow our course offerings to help prospective educators in other states and for other programs.

Our approach goes beyond the typical study guide to help candidates prepare for tests. We deliver high-quality, online courses aligned specifically to state teacher certification tests. Enroll in our TExESTM Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) course for free to see how we comprehensively cover content teachers need to know to pass state certification tests.

The Role of The Content Manager

The Assessment Preparation Content Development Manager leads the development of assessment preparation materials, including diagnostic assessments, engagement activities, content, and practice assessments. These materials are designed to prepare teacher candidates for high-stakes state teacher licensure examinations. The Manager is also responsible for working with internal colleagues, external consultants, and partners to deliver assessment preparation materials ready for the market.

The Manager will compile relevant subject-matter content to build candidate confidence when completing multiple-choice, selected response, and constructed response items that commonly appear on standardized state teacher certification tests like the PraxisTM and other licensure assessments.

The successful candidate will bring knowledge of curriculum and assessment, instructional design, and have experience managing large projects from conception through delivery. Perhaps most importantly, you must also have a drive to help aspiring teachers achieve their professional goals and demonstrate that in your approach to this work.

This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Passage Preparation.
